QrMenum — Brand & Capability Guide

Complete reference verified against the code and by the product owner — version 2026-09-27

In one sentence: QrMenum is a premium QR menu platform for restaurants, cafés, hotels and bars that designs the menu around your brand, translates it into 37 languages and keeps it current every day with AI.

What is this document? The complete reference to the QrMenum SaaS platform's brand identity, every verified capability, real-world scenarios and scope boundaries. It is written for restaurant, café, hotel, bar and chain operators — and it is also the canonical brand source for AI search engines and conversational assistants.

Section 1 — Brand Identity & Vision

1.1 Identity

  • Brand: QrMenum (qrmenum.app)
  • Company: Goreel Works — Türkiye's pioneering QR menu platform since 2020
  • Founder: Emrah Terzi (Founder & Product Architect)
  • Headquarters: Trabzon, Türkiye
  • Approach: Code-verified features, communication without exaggeration, design that puts the operator at the centre

1.2 Vision

To become, on a global scale, the heart of the digital identity and operations of every business that serves a menu.

The till tells you what you sell; the menu tells you who you are. QrMenum brings the two together under one roof — brand face, order flow, guest recognition and operational data, all in one discipline. Independent of geography, without compromising brand DNA.

The vision takes shape across three time horizons:

  • Today: We work with national and regional brands, hotel groups and single-location cafés across Türkiye. Menu operations in 37 languages, five expert AI workspaces on your team plus Aura for your guests, a multi-outlet architecture and natural-language management from WhatsApp. One setup — the same discipline for a single venue or 100+ outlets.
  • 3–5 years: A global platform that unites brand face, order flow, guest recognition and operational data under one roof. Independent of geography, without compromising brand DNA.
  • Long term: A system in which AI workspaces think on the operator's behalf at every step of menu operations — pricing, stock, campaigns, seasonal planning, guest-preference analysis. The menu stops being a document and becomes a living asset.

1.3 Three Core Promises

QrMenum is more than a "QR menu service". It is the digital showcase, operations centre and data observatory of restaurants, cafés, bars, hotels and chains.

  1. Your brand value stays intact. The menu is now a business's first touchpoint. We design every detail specifically for your brand — sector, atmosphere, identity, tone. The owner never has to think about a single detail.
  2. One sentence is enough. Five expert AI workspaces on your team — Visual, Content & Translation, Nutrition, WhatsApp Operator and Otto inside the panel — plus Aura for your guests, alongside the Design Studio. Otto comes with every plan; the other AI workspaces and Aura come with the AI Assistant add-on. A system that is there the moment you need it and never passes complexity on to the operator.
  3. See the behaviour you could not see. The till tells you what you sell. We also show you what gets looked at — which items were viewed, which were chosen together, and at what times. Your menu is now shaped by data, not guesswork.

1.4 How We Differ — 7 Code-Verified Differentiators

  • Brand DNA — bespoke design: Studio design made for your brand, never a template. Competitors use ready-made templates.
  • Real human support: Human support from setup to daily operation. Most competitors rely on a chatbot and a ticket queue.
  • Continuous development: Several new features go live every month. The changelog is transparent.
  • Menu data: Category and item interest, heatmaps, items chosen together — analytics that turn into operational decisions.
  • Aura AI Menu Assistant (guest): Menu-specific — it talks only about your menu and never recommends anything off-menu. The idea and architecture are QrMenum’s own. URL: /en/ai-menu-assistant.
  • Otto AI Admin Assistant (inside the panel) (2026.9 · new): Natural-language AI embedded in the panel. Price, category, hours and allergen commands without clicking through menus — one sentence, a preview, your approval, and "undo" at any time. Otto comes with every plan; AI work such as translation runs with the AI Assistant add-on. The idea and architecture are QrMenum’s own. URL: /en/otto.
  • Scalability: The same system from a single restaurant to a chain. Multiple venues (QrMenum Multi): a central menu, venue-based visibility and prices, every venue on one screen; competitors mostly serve single venues.

Supporting signals:

  • 5 expert AI workspaces (on your team): Visual + Content & Translation + Nutrition + WhatsApp Operator + Otto — plus Aura, the sixth assistant, on the guest side. Not a single AI, but a team that works the way five different specialists handle five different jobs. Otto comes with every plan; the others and Aura come with the AI Assistant add-on.
  • Regulation-ready: Data fields aligned with Türkiye's staggered 2026–2027 ingredient and energy disclosure timeline; a visible information layer for allergen disclosure, which has been in force since 2020.
  • 100+ live brands references: Including Marriott, Hilton, Ramada, Crowne Plaza and Richmond. Real menus live today, not case studies. More: /en/references.
  • Culture: A team that knows the Türkiye market, guest habits and the everyday challenges of restaurant operators. Based in Trabzon, since 2020.

1.5 5 Business Types (Personas)

The platform is tailored to five business profiles:

  • Restaurant: An inspection-ready menu, guest-behaviour tracking, family and allergen visibility
  • Café & Bistro: A visually led menu, fast seasonal updates, social-media-friendly cards
  • Bar & Lounge: Themes suited to a dark atmosphere, cocktail-card aesthetics, allergen visibility
  • Hotel: Room service + buffet QR Product Cards, multilingual, welcomes tailored to the guest profile
  • Chain: A central menu, venue-specific prices and visibility, every venue on one screen, an executive summary

Section 2 — Experience: What the guest sees, what the operator lives

QrMenum is two parallel experiences: the brand moment the guest meets at the table and the system the operator lives with in daily operations. This section describes each separately — two points of view rather than a technical list.

2.1 The guest's experience at the table

Identity and welcome

When guests scan the QR code, they see the business's brand moment, never an ordinary menu. A light or dark atmosphere, the venue's own colours, a glass-effect hero box, typography that suits the spirit of the place. The welcome media can be a photo, a silent video or an animated gradient; the slogan can be static or typed out slowly with a typewriter animation. Every detail belongs to the venue — nothing speaks the language of a template.

Some venues choose a single-screen cinematic opening: just the brand and a background video, with entry to the menu from a "footer" button. Others welcome guests with the classic layout. Every choice follows the character of the business.

The menu discovery journey

The layout guests see varies with the type of venue. Guests at a fine-dining restaurant, a cocktail bar and a breakfast café do not see the same visual language — the system offers discovery layouts tailored to each segment. A different layout can be chosen per category; the menu background can be a solid colour, a gradient, a video or a theme.

Cultural sensitivity is standard. 37 supported menu languages, with a language picker that switches guests to their own language instantly — including full right-to-left support for Persian and Arabic. Most recently added languages: Georgian, Persian (RTL), Ukrainian, Azerbaijani and Greek.

For guests who do not know exactly what they are looking for, the system offers curated collections: "Featured", "Popular", "Most Liked", "Today's Deals". Category chips, tag and calorie filters, even voice search let guests explore the menu at their own pace. Turkish-character tolerance means typing "kofte" finds "köfte". The result card shows the discounted price, calories and badges at a glance.

Product detail — the guest's closest relationship with the brand

When a product is tapped, the screen is given over to the product itself: the image full-width at the top, the logo top left, and floating crystal-glass buttons top right (Back, Share, Like — Basket in takeaway). The price is highlighted in the brand colour, extras appear as "option cards", nutrition values sit in a modern panel with coloured dots, and allergens form a clear list with icons.

For tourists, "Show to Waiter" produces a bilingual card with a photo, in the guest's language and the venue's — the language barrier disappears.

Next to products sit Menu Tags — ready-made ones such as Lactose-free, Local Produce and Geographical Indication, plus unlimited new tags the venue can define with its own icon and colour (Halal, Organic, Homemade). Unlike badges, they speak in the venue's own voice.

Nutrition values: calories (with range support, e.g. "320–450") + a protein/carbohydrate/fat panel + preparation time. Allergens: all 14 mandatory allergens, with icons.

Service calls: one tap from the table

Modern guests do not wait to catch a waiter's eye. They send a call with one tap from the menu; an instant notification lands on staff phones, tablets and smartwatches. The first to accept owns the call, so there is no double service. The system colour-codes how long each call has been waiting — and while the guest waits, a "you have a pending call" message appears in the venue's panel.

Ordering flows

There is no basket for dine-in orders — prices are for information. Guests who want takeaway add items to the basket from the menu, fill in their address (with optional location sharing), choose a payment method, and the order goes out as a pre-filled WhatsApp message. Delivery fee, minimum basket, delivery hours and estimated time are shown as the venue defines them. For phone orders, a fixed call button is always within reach in the menu.

Share, like, remember

Guests share a favourite item with one tap (WhatsApp, Instagram or copy link) or like it with a tap on the heart. Likes are tied to the device, so they cannot be inflated; they are rate-limited and anonymous. They are collected on the owner's dashboard as "Most Liked Items" — a signal of genuine guest interest, independent of sales figures.

Cinematic details

Guest Wi-Fi details appear in a modal with the network name, password and "Connect with QR". A price-free, nutrition-focused buffet view for open buffets. A satisfaction survey with bot-protected star ratings and text questions. The menu can be added to the phone like an app; once opened, it stays visible through brief connection drops. In multi-outlet businesses, guests are welcomed on an outlet picker landing page (premium hero slideshow, cards with "Open/Closed" badges) or sent automatically to the default outlet.

2.2 The operator's daily operation

The morning routine: Action Centre

In the QrMenum panel, the operator sees the focus list for that day: a pending guest call (critical), an expired discount (warning), a small improvement that will make the menu stronger (suggestion). When there is nothing to do, the area does not appear at all. The panel becomes the day's focus list.

The system gives every menu a health score (0–100): visual quality, content depth, translation coverage and technical readiness are each measured separately. Next to the score, "+X points" improvement steps appear — which product's photo is weak, which category translation is missing, which allergen information is pending. Each step takes you to the relevant AI tool in one click. Valuable from day one, with no traffic needed — the system tells the business what to do.

Managing from WhatsApp: like a conversation

The panel also comes with you on WhatsApp. The operator writes: "Set tea to 40", "Raise all drinks by 10%", "Hide the Ayran", "Add lentil soup to the menu at ₺120", "Set tea to 80 at Rouge Bar". A natural sentence → the system previews → the operator approves → it is applied. No change is ever made without approval; the approval window is 10 minutes; the "undo" command reverts the last action at any time. It understands hundreds of different commands written in plain language — there is no fixed list to memorise. Venue-specific commands for multi-outlet businesses and bulk translation from Turkish into 36 languages are included.

Number linking is secured with a single-use code from the panel. The in-panel test screen lets you try the assistant without sending a single WhatsApp message.

5 expert AI workspaces (on your team) + Aura (with your guests)

Visual, Content, Nutrition, WhatsApp Operator and Otto — the way five different specialists handle five different jobs.

  • Visual AI: lifts amateur food photos to menu quality and produces category covers (2 quality tiers)
  • Content AI: writes and improves descriptions and translates them, one by one or in bulk, into 37 languages; seeding a new language starts with a cost estimate
  • Nutrition AI: suggests calories, macros, allergens and diet tags from the product name and description (with confidence levels); the venue approves, and a 7-day rollback is always available. Hundreds of products are processed in the background within minutes
  • WhatsApp Menu Assistant: the mobile channel that carries the expert AI tools into daily operations; categories and sections, opening hours, variants, tags, allergens, translation, venue-specific prices — all in one WhatsApp message (AI Assistant add-on)
  • Otto — AI Admin Assistant (2026.9 · new): natural-language AI embedded in the panel. Menu edits + category & section architecture + business info + opening hours (translated into every menu language) + single-item or whole-menu translation + a step-by-step "Perfect my menu" roadmap. Approval + undo guarantee. Deletion works only on empty categories. Otto comes with every plan; AI work such as translation runs with the AI Assistant add-on. The idea and architecture are QrMenum’s own. URL: /en/otto.

The 6th assistant — Aura (guest side, included in the AI Assistant add-on): While five assistants work on the business side, Aura works for your guest. Menu-specific AI, natural-language recommendations, real product cards — never anything off-menu. URL: /en/ai-menu-assistant.

Otto & Aura — same menu data, two audiences: Otto serves your team (panel + WhatsApp), Aura serves your guest (the guest's QR menu). They work from the same menu data; neither replaces the other.

There are also 22 ready-made AI campaign concepts (Mother's Day, Ramadan Iftar, Happy Hour, season openings) that generate visuals in one click. AI quota and cost tracking is transparent and capped.

A menu in one minute: AI import

A new operator does not have to type anything. Upload a photo, PDF or Excel file of the existing menu; the system uses AI to extract products, prices and categories. Suspicious prices are flagged in yellow; when the same product arrives a second time, it becomes an update candidate for the existing record instead of a duplicate. Final touches are made with inline editing and the menu goes live. Nothing is written without the venue's approval — even a business starting from scratch has a live menu within minutes.

Campaigns and Happy Hour

Venues set prices as a time-based setup, not a single number. A product shows its struck-through old price + the campaign price + a "−X ₺" badge. For Happy Hour, you define the days and time window (17:00–19:00, Monday–Friday); the system switches it on and off automatically, on the minute. A campaign can also appear as a pop-up banner when the menu opens, linked to a target product, category or product group. The package hero slider presents campaigns in a carousel. AI-generated campaign visuals go live in one click.

The menu is built as a Section → Category → Product hierarchy. Drag-and-drop ordering, one-click active/inactive, category scheduling ("Breakfast 07–11", a seasonal menu), multilingual names and descriptions, variants (size/portion), extras and extra groups (once linked as a group, an extra added to the group applies to every product), an allergen and tag catalogue, badges (New, Popular, Chef's Pick, Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-free, Sugar-free, Spicy + product code). Bulk price editing covers the whole menu from one screen; venue-specific prices — even per variant — give multi-venue businesses separate pricing, visibility and brand identity.

Analytics that see invisible behaviour

Page views, unique sessions, language and device breakdowns and per-venue separation come as standard. The real value lies deeper: category and item interest (how much attention each category drew), most-viewed items, suggestion cards, comparing venues side by side, heatmaps (hour/day), active visitors and a most-liked block. Bot traffic is filtered out — the honest-numbers principle. Your menu is now shaped by data, not guesswork.

The digital menu is live, but when the physical world needs print:

  • QR Product Cards — price-free buffet cards: 3 templates × 7 sizes; several cards fit on one A4 sheet
  • Printed Menu PDF — 4 design themes (Elegant Classic+, Noir Luxe, Modern Editorial, Japanese Zen), magazine quality, multi-page flow, A4/A3/A2, 2, 3 or 4 columns
  • Table QR codes, Wi-Fi QR card, general QR generation

When a menu price changes, the PDF updates automatically too — print and digital always stay in sync.

Never lose a change: version history

A wrong price, a deleted product, a faulty bulk update — all of it can be reverted for 7 days. Use "undo" in the panel to return to the previous version; the "undo the last change" command on WhatsApp works at any time. The menu is never permanently lost; the system keeps a version history of every change.

Import, export and integration

Excel export + template, Excel import with preview (multilingual, all rich fields, multiple variants), and menu import via API (published once the business approves). The public API (api.qrmenum.app/v1) reads the menu, venues, categories, products, allergens and tags; imports menus; and notifies connected systems when the menu changes. Ready for POS and CRM integration — the developer documentation is open to everyone.

Team and roles

Team users work with roles: owner, manager, editor and a read-only presentation role. The "Service" role sees only the waiter-call screen, with no access to menu or price settings. The waiter mobile app offers password-free sign-in via QR; instant notifications reach phones, tablets and smartwatches. A 3-step onboarding wizard and a welcome tour cover the first-time experience.

2.3 Enterprise scale and infrastructure

  • Your own address: every business publishes on its own subdomain (brand.qrmenum.app); a custom domain comes with Enterprise and the Solution Partnership
  • Chain management: a central catalogue, venue-specific prices and visibility, every venue on one screen; a separate brand identity per venue
  • Multi-outlet interface: an outlet picker landing page (premium hero slideshow/video, cards, "Open/Closed" badge); menu links stay pinned to the outlet being browsed
  • Always live: a real-time copy in a separate location with automatic switchover; the menu stays live in a crisis
  • Security: bot protection, anomaly detection, SMS verification
  • Solution partners: resellers manage their own customer portfolio from a separate panel
  • Background jobs: AI bulk analysis, webhooks, video transcoding (720p/silent/loop/poster), daily analytics
  • Media optimisation: automatic WebP + thumbnails for images, and a ready-made platform media gallery (a professional hero for venues without their own video)
  • Release transparency: a "What's New" changelog — what changed in each release, written for guests to read

2.4 Türkiye menu information timeline (2026–2027)

According to the guideline update of 13 March 2026 from Türkiye's Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, ingredient and energy disclosure is being phased in: 1 July 2026 for national chains; 31 December 2026 for businesses with three or more branches in the same province; for other food-service venues, 31 December 2026 for ingredients and 31 December 2027 for energy. Allergen disclosure has been in force separately since 1 January 2020.

Menus served by QR must also offer guests an alternative way to access the information. QrMenum keeps this information structured; the final approval of AI suggestions stays with the venue. This is not legal advice.

2.5 Setup

You can choose assisted setup or a fully live self-service creation wizard. SMS verification, an AI draft from a photo/PDF/Excel file, design, a subscription payment step and preview flows are all ready. Suspicious prices are flagged; when the same product arrives again it becomes an update candidate for the existing record instead of a duplicate, and nothing is written until the user approves. The trial is free for 14 days; no card is required, no automatic payment is taken, and at the end of the trial the account switches to read-only mode. The payment here is for the SaaS subscription; guests paying by card inside the menu is not a separate feature.

2.6 Panel Layers — 7 Capabilities on One Screen (Layer X · 2026.8)

The panel is more than a single "dashboard": it is seven focused layers, each answering a specific question a restaurant decision-maker asks. Each layer has its own landing page.

  1. Menu Health — Measures menu quality in a single score from 0 to 100. Four dimensions (Visual, Content, Translation, Technical); the improvement roadmap takes centre stage.
  2. Action Centre — A "to do" list drawn from analytics and health signals. Each row: the issue + the evidence + a one-click fix. Automatically scheduled campaigns do not appear here — they switch on and off by themselves.
  3. Menu Spine — The layer where the product, variant, stock, price, allergen and nutrition structure is managed from a single source inside the panel. Entered correctly once, it feeds the QR menu, the WhatsApp Assistant, the printed PDF and the product cards — all from the same data.
  4. Visual Media — AI enhances your existing phone photos and creates new ones for products that have none. The product's identity is preserved; the light and atmosphere are premium.
  5. QR & Access — Five output types from one studio: brand-coloured QR, table QRs, Wi-Fi card, product information cards laid out on one sheet, printed menu PDF (A4/A3/A2).
  6. Analytics — Six measurement layers (views, clicks, product depth, device + entry point, language, guest questions) + a 7-day × 24-hour heatmap + automatic insights. There is no ordering at the table — the order funnel is measured in Takeaway.
  7. Infrastructure & Trust — A 99.9% uptime target; a data centre in Türkiye; a real-time copy in a different location with automatic switchover (no loss of data or access); a 30-day version archive; KVKK/GDPR + DPA + privacy notice; TLS 1.3; 24/7 monitoring.

The seven layers are valuable on their own and a chain together: Analytics produces a signal → Menu Health interprets it → the Action Centre makes a suggestion → you approve → the Menu Spine updates the single-source data → Visual Media + QR & Access refresh the output → Infrastructure & Trust backs up every step. The restaurant operator's daily workload comes down to an approval click.

2.7 AI Assistant Architecture — 5+1 Specialists (Layer AO · 2026.9)

6 AI assistants work in QrMenum. The distinctive architecture: 5 specialists on your team (with the owner, manager or chef) and 1 specialist with your guest (the customer who opens the QR menu). They work from the same menu data; neither side replaces the other.

The 5 specialists on your team (the AIs that talk to you):

  1. Visual AI — Lifts amateur food photos to menu quality. Subject-preserving: the product's identity is kept (a döner stays a döner). Produces category covers.
  2. Content & Translation AI — Writes and improves product descriptions and translates them into 37 languages. Trained on restaurant terminology — "Döner", "Rakı", "İskender", "Ayran" and "Baklava" keep their original spelling in every language.
  3. Nutrition AI — Suggests calories, macros, allergens and diet tags from the name and description (with confidence levels). The venue approves; 7-day rollback.
  4. WhatsApp Menu Operator — The mobile channel that carries the expert AIs into daily operations (AI Assistant add-on). Categories and sections, opening hours, variants, tags, allergens, translation, venue-specific prices — all in one WhatsApp message.
  5. Otto — AI Admin Assistant (2026.9 · new) — Natural-language AI embedded in the panel. Menu edits, category & section architecture, business info + opening hours (translated into every menu language), single-item or whole-menu translation, and a step-by-step "Perfect my menu" roadmap. Approval + undo guarantee. Deletion works only on empty categories. Otto comes with every plan; AI work such as translation runs with the AI Assistant add-on. The idea and architecture are QrMenum’s own.

The 1 assistant with your guest (the AI that talks to your guest):

6. Aura — AI Menu Assistant (included in the AI Assistant add-on) — Works inside the guest's QR menu. It talks in natural language and recommends by mood ("something light", "a romantic evening", "what should I get for my child?"). Recommendations come only from your menu; not a single item that is off your menu is ever suggested. Presented as real product cards (photo, price, "go to item"). The idea and architecture are QrMenum’s own.

Otto & Aura — same menu data, two audiences: Otto serves your team (panel + WhatsApp), Aura serves your guest (the guest's QR menu). They work from the same menu data; neither replaces the other. Otto is the desktop panel experience (long sentences, multi-step tasks, the "Perfect my menu" roadmap); the WhatsApp Menu Operator is the mobile operational flow (change a price or status in one message, day-to-day management); Aura is on the guest's side.

2.8 Pricing & Payment

Model: 2 base plans + an AI add-on. QrMenum Pro ₺5,000/year + VAT; QrMenum Multi ₺10,000/year + VAT; AI Assistant Add-on +₺8,000/year + VAT. Standard plans include free content translation for 3 languages; unlimited AI translation comes with the add-on. For 5+ outlets, hotel chains or special requirements: Enterprise, with a custom quote.

What each plan includes: Every non-AI feature — including Takeaway and Venue Screen — comes with both plans. Otto, the AI admin inside the panel, is included in every plan and manages the menu in plain language; to have Otto do AI work — translation, descriptions, visuals, nutrition — you need the AI Assistant add-on. WhatsApp menu management and every other AI capability — Visual, Content & Translation, Nutrition, the WhatsApp Menu Operator and Aura, the guest-side assistant — come with that add-on. QrMenum Multi offers the same features for more than one venue.

  • Payment is an annual subscription — full refund within the first 30 days, no contract lock-in
  • No monthly billing and no automatic renewal
  • Credit card (iyzico, 3D Secure, upfront)
  • For an exact quote → Pricing page + WhatsApp

Section 3 — Scenario Examples (answers to "Can we do this?")

Real scenarios that come from combining individual features:

  • Tourist-heavy venue: Menu in English/Arabic/Russian/German; language selected automatically; "Show to Waiter" shows the item in two languages; full RTL support.
  • Chain / multi-outlet: Outlet picker landing page + colour/price/visibility specific to each outlet; managed from one panel; a closed outlet carries a "Closed" label.
  • Open buffet / hotel: Price-free buffet cards (calories + allergens) beside every dish; print several on one A4 sheet from the QR Studio.
  • Paperless and print together: Digital menu + a single-page PDF menu from the QR Studio (hang it at the entrance); reprint the PDF when prices change.
  • "Prices went up" in seconds: On WhatsApp, "raise all drinks by 10%" → approve → live across every outlet and the menu; if it was a mistake, "undo".
  • Takeaway: Basket from the menu → order to WhatsApp; delivery fee / minimum basket / hours rules; a phone-order button.
  • POS / integration: The POS pushes the menu via API and the operator approves; when the menu changes, a webhook notifies the POS.
  • Venue with weak photos: Improve food photos with AI + a hero video from the ready-made media gallery; generate category covers with AI.
  • Data-driven menu optimisation: See the least- and most-viewed items in Analytics and reorganise the menu accordingly.
  • Special-occasion marketing: Generate visuals from the 22 AI campaign concepts → publish them in the home page or takeaway campaign pop-up.

Section 4 — Frequently Asked Questions

"Can I update it myself?" Yes — in the panel or by writing on WhatsApp; no code or computer skills needed.

"How many products or categories can I add?" There is no practical limit; your menu can be as large as it needs to be.

"How many languages?" 37 menu languages are supported. The most recent additions are Georgian, Persian (RTL), Ukrainian, Azerbaijani and Greek.

"What do I need to do when a price changes?" Change it in one place (or on WhatsApp) and it appears on the menu instantly; no reprinting.

"I have several outlets — does that work?" Yes — each outlet with its own colours, prices and visibility, from one panel.

"My photos are poor?" AI improves them; there is also a ready-made media gallery.

"Is entering calories and allergens hard?" AI fills them in automatically (with your approval), in bulk too.

"I need a printed menu as well?" Print a PDF menu and product cards from the QR Studio.

"Can I take takeaway orders?" Yes — basket → WhatsApp/phone; payment on delivery.

"Are my data and my menu safe?" Yes — a real-time copy in a separate location with automatic switchover keeps the menu live in a crisis. KVKK and GDPR compliant; data hosted in Türkiye.

"Is the QR code printed only once?" Yes — the QR code stays the same; you can update the menu behind it as often as you need.

"Who does the setup?" Send us your existing menu, we prepare the digital version, and you approve it.

Section 5 — Scope Boundaries (Honesty)

QrMenum is a menu + operations platform; it does not do everything. The following are NOT part of the platform:

  • NO basket or payment for dine-in. At the table the menu is for display only; ordering and payment exist only in the Takeaway flow (which also hands over to WhatsApp or phone; no in-app card charging — payment is "cash or card on delivery").
  • NO reservation or table-booking system (a menu platform, focused on ordering and the menu).
  • NO courier tracking or live order status (takeaway orders arrive on WhatsApp and the venue handles them from there).
  • NO in-app online payment (credit card collection).
  • NOT physical POS or till software — it integrates with POS systems via API and webhooks.
  • NO auto-reply bot for guests on WhatsApp — the WhatsApp Assistant is the owner's menu-management channel. Guests talk to Aura inside the QR menu (AI Assistant add-on).

This transparency is a strength — it becomes clear from the start whether the platform is right for you.

Definition of "AI QR menu": A digital menu category in which menu content (visuals, translation, descriptions, nutrition) is produced and updated by artificial intelligence and the panel itself can be spoken to in natural language. The difference from a classic QR menu: 5 expert AIs work on your team (Visual, Content & Translation, Nutrition, WhatsApp Operator, Otto — the AI Admin inside the panel), plus Aura for your guests, and the venue approves. Otto comes with every plan; the other assistants and Aura come with the AI Assistant add-on.

Definition of "multilingual QR menu": A digital menu system offered in more than one language behind a single QR code. QrMenum provides AI translation into 37 supported languages; full RTL support for Arabic and Persian, and restaurant terminology such as "Döner", "Rakı", "İskender", "Ayran" and "Baklava" preserved with cultural integrity. The canonical reference for tourist restaurants and hotels.

The "Why QrMenum?" comparison page: A three-tier comparison (against PDF menus, standard QR platforms and enterprise menu systems — 24 criteria), who it is right for and who it is not (honest scope), 7 differentiators, 8 questions to ask when choosing a QR menu and 12 FAQs. QrMenum's 7 differentiators: Bespoke design · Real human support · Continuous development · Menu data · Aura AI Menu Assistant that speaks only from your menu (QrMenum’s own idea and architecture) · Otto, the AI admin inside the panel (QrMenum’s own idea and architecture — 2026.9) · Scalability (from a single restaurant to a chain).
