Panel Experience NEW

Your panel's opening line:
what should I do today?

When you open the panel you're met with the answer to what should I do today? — not numbers. Everything waiting for you, ranked by priority, in one feed. The most important item is always on top.

The greeting card: today's summary.

The first thing you see on entering the panel — the answer to "how many jobs are waiting?" If none, a quiet salute; if some, a single tap scrolls you to the list.

Three priorities, one flow.

Critical first (a guest is waiting), then warnings (something drifted), improvements last (the menu can be stronger). The system sorts; you just handle it.

Critical

Time-Sensitive

A pending waiter call — the guest is in service, waiting now. Every second lost is guest satisfaction lost.

Warning

Something Drifted

A discount still active past its end date (risks wrong charging), unprocessed video, empty price. Prevents mis-billing and a bad impression.

Improvement

Stronger Menu

Highest-impact steps from the Menu Health engine: "79 items not translated to Russian → +7 points", "94 items missing a cover photo".

The decision flow, live.

Each row jumps to the right screen in one tap. As the list shrinks, the panel "calms down" — the goal is emptying it.

Where the signals come from.

All produced live from today's data; no extra tables or setup. If a module is off, its signal never appears — zero noise.

Waiter call

Only when the Waiter Call module is on and active on the tenant side; the count of pending (unanswered) calls surfaces as Critical.

Draft campaign awaiting publish

Campaign drafts saved but not yet published in the Discounts module are listed as a warning. Auto-scheduled campaigns (Happy Hour, weekday lunch, weekend) don't appear here — those open and close on their own.

Menu-quality gaps

A few highest-impact steps from the Menu Health engine — the same computation is shared, no extra query. Surfaced as Improvement.

Why it earns its keep.

Decision fatigue ends.

The system answers "what should I look at first?" The moment you open the panel, the next job is on top — no thinking required.

Nothing is forgotten.

The pending call, the discount you forgot to close, the missing content — all in one list. The panel isn't scattered; it's one place.

The panel behaves like a control panel.

Open, do the top item, move on. As the list shrinks the venue calms — clarity itself.

Complementary to Menu Health.

Menu Health answers "how good is my menu?" (score); the Action Centre answers "what should I do now?" (task). Two different questions, one panel.

Frequently asked questions

  1. What should I look at first when I open the panel?
Right after the greeting card comes the Action Centre list. Any pending critical job (a waiter call) sits at the top; then warnings (an unpublished campaign draft); improvements (menu-quality steps) last. The ordering is done for you.
  2. How do I know if there's a pending waiter call or a discount I forgot to close?
You don't have to visit separate screens — the Action Centre shows them in one list. An unpublished campaign draft row takes you to publish it with one tap; a waiter-call row takes you to the call panel.
  3. What's the highest-priority job on my menu right now?
Once critical and warning items are handled, the top of the improvement rows is the biggest step forward. Example: "94 items missing a cover photo · +23 points" — click it and land on Bulk-Fill with AI.
  4. Can the panel guide me — I don't want to hunt?
Yes — that's exactly what the Action Centre is for. Open, do the top item, move on. As the list empties the panel calms; if it's empty you see "You have no pending jobs 👌".
  5. Does the Action Centre change anything on my behalf?
No. It's a read-only router; it changes nothing for you — it just takes you to the right screen. Decisions and actions stay yours; the system only says "look at this first."
  6. Which signals appear — how is that decided?
It depends on your active modules. If Waiter Call is off, that signal never appears. If Discounts is off, no expiry warning. Menu Health is always present — a limited set of highest-impact improvement items (deliberately capped to keep focus).
