01 What Is a Cookie?
Cookies are small text files saved to your browser when you visit a website. They are used for basic functions such as remembering your session, your language preference and keeping the site secure.
Which cookies we use on this site, why we use them and how you can manage your preferences — explained plainly.
Cookies are small text files saved to your browser when you visit a website. They are used for basic functions such as remembering your session, your language preference and keeping the site secure.
We use cookies in the following categories:
| Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Session management, CSRF security token, panel sign-in state. The platform cannot work without these cookies, so they do not require consent. | Session |
| Functional | Settings that make the site more comfortable to use, such as your language, theme and last viewed page. | 30–365 days |
| Measurement (Google Analytics 4) | Aggregate statistics that show which pages work well. Never used for advertising. Cookies are set only with your consent; without it, measurement is cookieless and aggregate. | Up to 2 years |
| Promotional (only during campaigns) | Third-party cookies that measure ad campaign performance (e.g. Meta Pixel, Google Ads). Not in use at the moment. During campaigns they load only if you give separate consent. | 90 days–2 years |
Analytics collected for menu visitors (scan count, session length, device type) is stored anonymously on our servers.
Measurement cookies (Google Analytics 4). To understand which pages of our site work well, we use Google Analytics 4 with Google’s Consent Mode. If you do not give consent, GA4 writes no cookies to your device and stores no identifier that recognises you; it only sends cookieless measurement signals for aggregate statistics, such as page views and device type. Google Signals and ad personalisation are turned off. If you give consent, measurement cookies are enabled; if you later withdraw it, those cookies are deleted.
Promotional cookies. We are not running any advertising campaign at the moment, and no promotional cookies are used on our site. If we run campaigns in the future, third-party cookies such as the following may load to measure their impact — only if you give separate consent; during those periods they appear as a separate option in your cookie preferences:
Cookie providers’ own privacy policies are subject to their own independent terms (e.g. Google, Meta).
You can manage your cookie preferences in two ways:
Disabling essential cookies will stop the platform from working (you will not be able to sign in or submit forms). Turning off measurement and promotional cookies does not affect your use of the site.
If we change our cookie policy, we update the "Last updated" date on this page and notify our registered customers by email about significant changes.
You can send questions about our use of cookies through the following channels:
We don’t sell data or build profiles, and ad measurement runs only with your consent. We’re happy to answer your questions directly.
